Frank Zane Would Like My Product

Frank Zane Would Like My Product

I spent most of my work time today developing and shaping what my product will actually be if it actually exists, and writing a sales letter for it. I need to focus my marketing more and work on the sales letter, but I’ll share with you the basic outline of what I envision the product being.

It’s a four part mp3 product for bodybuilders and physique enthusiasts looking for an edge on the competition.

Here’s what the buyer will get:

Part One: Forget And Focus (to be used pre-workout)

This short, but powerful mp3 helps you forget the events of the day and focus specifically on the task at hand – the workout. Let the outside world dissolve around you and as you turn your attention towards the next 30-60 minutes.

(Author note: Arnold is famous for saying you can’t just come straight from work to the gym and expect results)

Part Two: Mind/Muscle Connections (to be used pre-workout)

We’ve recorded mp3’s for each specific muscle group, allowing you to design your own program to match your workout regiment. These audio files will help you ‘feel’ your muscles insuring that you hypertrophy only the ones that count.

Part Three: Pre-Workout Visualizations

Pre-workout visualizations are designed to help you mentally prepare for a tough workout to come. Our voice coach will help begin visualizing yourself actually lifting the weights and completing your workout. Remember, what you can see you can achieve!

Part Four: Guided Visualization and Positive Affirmations (to be used anytime)

Everyone from Brian Tracy to Napoleon Hill know the power of positive affirmations. If you say something to yourself over and over again, eventually you’ll believe it.

These mp3’s not only establish and reinforce beliefs, they also help paint a mental pictures of a new, more muscular you, which will serve as motivation and encouragement.

And the extra bonuses to sweeten the deal.

30 minute nap blaster mp3

Bodybuilders have long used naps as a way to get in some extra rest and recovery time.

Deep Sleep Fast mp3

The key to getting a deep, refreshing night’s sleep is spending plenty of time in the REM phase. This 30 minute mp3 is designed to lure you into a trance like sleep as quickly as possible.

As far as marketing the product, I’m thinking about setting the product up as the forgotten muscle building ingredient. Old-timers like Arnold, Frank Zane, and Vince Gironda were propronents of visualizations. Nobody talks about it these days. I want the product to be the third pillar of bodybuilding success: 1) diet 2) training 3) visualizations and my product.

I want to test whether or not my product will actually sell. If there’s no market for the product, then there’s no use in developing it. I’ve come up with a simple plan partially based on chapter 10 of The 4 Hour Work Week.

To test my muse, I am going to do the following:

  1. Fully to develop my product but on paper. I want to intimately know my product so I can effectively sell it.
  2. Create a 1-3 page website with a sales letter. I’ll be split testing the sales letter to maximize results.
  3. Drive targeted traffic to my site. I’ll do this in 3 ways: a) submit articles to article databases (Ezine) b) use some Pay Per Click advertising with Google c) forum marketing – post on bodybuilding related forums.
  4. Monitor my results. I’ll track how many people click through to the buy page (I wont be collecting their info)
  5. If 2/100 choose to buy the product, then I’ll consider it a GO.
  6. Start developing the product. Redesign the website. Move forward.

Notes:

  • I’ll run you through and describe each process as I come to them. For now this is the basic outline.
  • You’ll see exactly what the bodybuilding and meditation product will be when I get the sales page up.
