Testing The Muse – Gathering Emails With Aweber

In today’s video I talk about setting up email marketing software with Aweber. After someone clicks the buy button on MuscleMeditate.com, we need to send them to a thank you page and catch their email.
We’re doing for this for two reasons:
- If someone puts in their email address we’ll count it as a definite sale.
- If we do go forward with the project we have a way to contact them in the future. (I’m also offering early subscribers a half-off discount so they can’t get too mad)
I’m still trying to gather data on the website traffic so I’d rather not have you guys click on the buy button at MuscleMeditate.com right now. I set up some example pages that you can look at here:
- The thank you page where they must put in their email address – http://talkmuse.com/mmsqueeze
- The ‘order’ page where it tells them it’s not available right now – http://talkmuse.com/mmsqueeze/order.html
If you so desire, put in your real email address on the thank you page and you’ll be added to the Talk Muse list. I’ll be sending out helpful tips and any other information I feel is worthy in the future.
